Tutera Group was founded by Dominic F. Tutera, M.D. (1927-1998).
Dr. Tutera was a noted physician with over 34 years of active practice
who built Tutera Group on the same principles that guided him as a
successful physician and strong patient care advocate.

And because those principles were rooted in the successful
development and operation of Tutera Group's own long term
care projects, we were quickly recognized as a leader in the
long term care management field upon formation of our third
party management business. Earning the trust and maintaining
the confidence of the clients we serve is the cornerstone of
our success. Tutera provides turnkey management solutions
to the senior health care and retirement living industry including
management services, access to professional liability insurance,
specialized lending solutions, employee leasing, and receivership
services. Tutera utilizes its staff of health care and retirement
experts to assess operational proficiency, clinical care, financial
feasibility, and regulatory compliance for its clients.

Our clients include both for profit and not for profit owners, lenders,
bond trustees, state regulatory authorities, bankruptcy trustees, and
REITS. Tutera has served as both a financial and regulatory based
receiver for long term care properties that are experiencing financial
and/or clinical distress. Tutera has earned the reputation of a
"turnaround specialist" by bringing projects back to operational
and financial health shortly following Tutera’s involvement
with such projects.
