THE KANSAS CITY EYE FOUNDATION



The Tutera Group designed and built this regional medical center to
support the Department of Ophthalmology at the University of
Missouri-Kansas City School of Medicine in 1987. The unique use
of glass and steel, as well as the modern design of this building
reflects the image The Tutera Group wanted to create that
symbolizes the state-of-the-art research, education and patient
care and rehabilitation that is conducted within its walls.

to love children. Even tyrants and
dictators make a point of being
fond of children. But the affection
and care for the old, the incurable,
the helpless are true gold mines
of a culture."
