Haven Eldercare, LLC and its affiliates filed for chapter 11 relief in November 2007. Haven was the one of the largest operators of skilled nursing facilities in New England, having owned or leased and operated 25 skilled nursing facilities. In July 2008, Tutera assisted CapitalSource Finance, LLC in purchasing four (4) long term care facilities located in Connecticut and New Hampshire from Haven's bankruptcy estate and following such purchase, Tutera thereafter began leasing and operating the facilities.
